2. WHO IS THE MAN? written by Henry Ainsworth circa 1611 2.07min
The Ainsworth Psalter and was sung by the Pilgrims in the 1600's. Theres almost no recordings of it, so I decided to make one. I found it in an old book called "Treasury of American Song" It was first published in 1612 by English Seperatists in Holland. The title and lyrics were based on lines from Psalm 34:12 "Who is the man that desireth life: who loveth to see good days?"
